staff writer @ The Naked Umbrella Strike Me Down Caucasian people make up a new television show dealing with lightning. January 21, 2008 -- Caucasian people decide to take extreme sports to a whole new level. Crazy White Sports (CWS) producers have come up with a new reality elimination TV show for their network called Strike Me Down. Contestants will have to do whatever they have to, to get struck by lightning. CWS owner Lei Dawson says, “This is the greatest idea for a new show that I’ve heard since Let’s Play With Fire. “We need a show like this,” Dawson added. “Something that will fry our viewer’s minds.” The new show will debut on CWS television on March 12th. A new episode will air every Sunday night at 7 p.m., right after Scarred. Each episode will have five participants and will be filmed in various locations across the world in severe lightning and thunderstorm conditions. The contestants can do anything from running, standing under a tree, holding up an umbrella or wearing metal, to get struck. “It is all about strategy,” claimed participant Courtney Delancy. “You have to do whatever you have to, to win.” Although labeled as a white network, CWS television doesn’t only have whites on the station. Dawson included, “Our network is open to anyone, of any color, race, gender or ethnicity who wants to be a part of it. We don’t want to seem racist.” Just ask James Smith, an unimportant black man whose comments don’t matter. “Only white folks will do something this stupid.” Winners of each episode, will be given CPR from a white certified paramedic, along with a grand prize of a second aid kit or a $25 gift card to a funeral home of the family’s choosing, valid only at participating locations. “The award is useful if you win, dead or alive, that is,” informed SMD producer, Cornell Haynes. The unfortunate losers must continue to run around in the thunderstorm like idiots, until the credits finish rolling. At the seasons’ conclusion, the winning contestants from each episode, if survived, will be brought back for one last challenge to see who is truly the best, in getting struck down. “We know that the show will be a success, and we would love to make lightning strike twice with a cast of celebrities,” added Haynes. “I can just imagine the name for it now: Striking Down the Stars.” To sign up for a show you would like to be on, just log on to www.cws/casting.com and wait for a phone call.
