All off creation
Awaits with eager expectation The manifestation of the sons of God. But just who are the sons of God? They’re not those who just perform self-righteous works at church with spiritual cockiness Or who prays out loud in the streets to get praised by large audiences Or who have a form and fashion of what they deem godliness, yet denies the true power thereof. Many people will cry out on that Great Day Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, Cast out demons in your name And perform many works in your name? But the Lord will simply say to them I never knew you. So get away from me You workers of iniquity… You see, anyone can do the works of a son with flawlessness Yet lack that personal relationship. If you read your bible, you would know that this is quite obvious. But a true son will be known Not just by the works that they do But by the fruit they exude. So answer me this: Are you a son? It’s a question that not many know how to answer. Because for many years we’ve been told to identify ourselves as Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican or Presbyterian. Some of us even label ourselves as Pentecostal, COGIC, 7th Day, Baptist, or Methodist. But as far as I know, as many as received Him To them gave he power to become sons not denominations. The Spirit that we received causes us to cry out Abba Father But don’t worry, ladies... The family tree is inclusive. Because in the call to sonship There’s not only a birth of sons There’s also virtuous daughters. But no need to distinguish the two. For the Father sees us both as one. Just like he sees himself and his son. No longer are we divided by gender, ethnicity or tribal tongue. We’ve been united by the blood. Call it holy communion. Or better yet, a family reunion. Many members, yet one body in Christ in love. So if you’re a son, take a moment out to give praise to your Father above.
